Professor Marcel Szabó (Ph.D, habil.) is full professor and head of the department of European Law at Pázmány Péter Catholic University. Besides his academic career, between 2011 and 2012 Professor Szabó represented the Hungarian Government in front of the International Court of Justice in the Hague, and between 2012 and 2016 he was the Deputy Commissioner for Fundamental Rights and Ombudsman for Future Generations in Hungary. Professor Szabó was elected as justice at the Constitutional Court of Hungary in 2016, for twelve years. He is Founder and Honorary Chair of the Network of Institutions of Future Generations. His main areas of research are international environmental law, rights of future generations, responsibility of states in public international law, and public international law and EU law in the case law of the Constitutional Court of Hungary. Professor Szabó is the founder and Editor-in-Chief of the Hungarian Yearbook of International Law and European Law.
Laura Gyeney (Ph.D) is associate professor of law and deputy head of the Department of European Law at Pázmány Péter Catholic University. Besides her academic career, she is vice president of the Institute for the Protection of Minority Rights and member of the Bar Exam Committee. Her main areas of research are Union citizenship, free movement law, and minority rights. She teaches European law both in Hungarian and English. Mrs. Gyeney is also editor of the Hungarian Yearbook of International Law and European Law.
Petra Lea LÁNCOS (Ph,D., LL.M.) is associate professor of Pázmány Péter Catholic University, Faculty of Law and Political Sciences and researcher of the Deutsches Forschungsinstitut für öffentliche Verwaltung working on the project of Soft Law in the European Union. Láncos specializes in European public law, multilingualism, language law and policy of the EU and legal translation. She teaches European law in Hungarian, English and German and is editor of the Hungarian Yearbook of International Law and European Law and Magyar Jogi Nyelv.

Pál SZILÁGYI (Ph.D., LL.M.) is the Director of the Competition Law Research Centre in Hungary. He is lecturer at the Pázmány Péter Catholic University (Faculty of Law and Political Sciences and the Faculty of Humanities) where he teaches competition law and European law. Pal obtained postgraduate diplomas from King's College London and University of Cambridge and an LLM in Competition Law at King's College London. Pal is the director of the postgraduate diploma in competition law program at PPKE and is the author of several articles and book chapters in Hungarian and English on competition law and European Law.
